The Fundamentals: Setting Clear Expectations

Setting expectations…it sounds pretty basic, but it is one of the most important things that leaders at any level can do to set themselves and their team up for success. Communicating your expectations can provide clarity for work standards, get everyone on the same page, and provide a measuring stick for future performance. Skipping this leadership task and you may end up with a team that is confused, contentious, and lacking accountability.
